Propane, butane

General:

Propane and butane are part of a group of hydrocarbons known as liquefied petroleum gases (LPG), which are used in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.

Both substances are stored in a pressurized liquid state, making them easier to transport and store.

Propane:

Description:

Propane (C₃H₈) is a light hydrocarbon that is in a gaseous state under normal conditions and stored under pressure.

Application:

It is used as a fuel for heating, cooking, and as a raw material for the production of propylene glycol and other chemicals.

Bhutan:

Description:

Butane (C₄H₁₀) is also a light hydrocarbon that is in a gaseous state under normal conditions and stored under pressure.

Application:

Used as fuel for gas stove sticks, gas burners, automobile gas cylinders and industrial applications such as lubricants and coolants.
